There’s so much we don’t know.

Sometimes, what we learn from Native people is how to be ourselves.

Let’s put our money where our wealth is.

The message is clear. It is coming from all parts of the world. What does it mean for our lives?

If I want to participate in creating the future, I must be willing to give up my attachment to being a victim
and take responsibility for being an adult of my species.

We in Western culture frequently come together for funerals. It is equally important to join together in the bringing of new life into the world.

August 7th:
When unseen forces are ignored, we miss a big part of the picture.

August 8th:
A bit of hard work contributes to the honesty of a person. I can trust people who know how to pitch in and help.

August 9th:
I like togetherness. It’s difficult to be lonely when we come together.

August 10th:
Knowledge, information, and understanding are dangerous without compassion.

August 11th:
Just because I can’t hear something, that doesn’t mean it’s not “talking.”

August 12th:
Life is circular.

August 13th:
Spirituality is easy. It’s religions that cause problems.

August 14th:
We are blessed to have Elders. What might happen if we listened to them?

August 15th:
The “isms” are outgrowths of fear and the refusal to face ourselves.

August 16th:
When I learn to listen to nature, I am never lost.

August 17th:
A clearer vision, a more generous humanity, and a deeper spirituality. Who could ask for anything more?

August 18th:
As we find our way to meditation, we give ourselves a chance.

August 19th:
Let us help each other to remember how blessed we are to have Elders in our life.

August 20th:
Eight days of quiet. That’s more than some of us get in a lifetime.

August 21st:
Pondering is a good thing.

August 22nd:
Sitting Bull was right. Materialism is a disease among us, and it is killing us.

August 23rd:
It is our responsibility to be realistic and to know whose tongue can be trusted.

August 24th:
Tolerance will allow us to participate in change, and participating in change will give us tolerance.

August 25th:
If the shoe fits, should I wear it -- or look for new shoes? Maybe it’s time to go shopping!

August 26th:
Waiting with can be important to Elders too -- and it’s worth it.

August 27th:
How can we learn anything if we try to destroy everything we don’t understand?

August 28th:
What am I doing in my life to “develop my eternal beingness”?

August 29th:
By disenchanting our world we have lost something precious.

August 30th:
There are so many mysteries.

August 31st:
