July 1st:
I ask the Great Spirit to give me knowledge and awareness so that the choices I make will honour the Creator and serve the generations that follow.

July 2nd:
God has given us many gifts, one of which is our bodies.

July 3rd:
Freedom is the right to exercise diversity and live our truth.

July 4th:
When I get too busy to stop and be grateful, I probably need to re-examine my priorities.

July 5th:
To understand the belief system in which I live, it helps to have the perspective of another system.

July 6th:
When Native people say what they think, it sometimes rocks our reality.

July 7th:
When I ask only to do the work of the Creator, the Creator responds.

July 8th:
We have much in our lives, and some things are missing. I am drawn to those who teach me about the rhythm of the land and the rhythm of my blood.

July 9th:
Our need to know keeps us from learning so much.

July 10th:
Being in my world lets my world into me.

July 11th:
Please, Elders, don’t be silent now!

July 12th:
Being “poor in spirit” is what makes me discontent, not the lack of material things.

July 13th:
When I respect all of Creation, I benefit, as I am a part of Creation.

July 14th:
Love is way of being, not a way of doing.

July 15th:
Everything in its time, remember, everything in its time.

July 16th:
Humour is life’s leavening. Without it, our soils don’t rise.

July 17th:
We need as broad a spiritual base as possible if we are to live spiritual lives.

July 18th:
Respect is the key to living.

July 19th:
When I have no relation to my surroundings, I kill my surroundings and they kill me.

July 20th:
 Often, on a moonless night when I need to get from one place to another in nature and I have no flashlight, I know there is a path although I can’t see it.
I have discovered that if I just stand and wait, the path will emerge. I won’t see it. I’ll just know it.
If I am impatient and I just push on, I will lose my way altogether. Life is sometimes like this.

July 21st:
Being lulled with pleasant falsehoods is verbal drugging. Eventually it destroys.

July 22nd:
Healthy people live with their world.

July 23rd:
Changing times are invitations for participation.

July 24th:
When I find that I am not laughing very much, I am probably getting too serious about how important I think I am.

July 25th:
When my thinking is not balanced by my heart and soul, I get into a heap of trouble.

July 26th:
Care enough for myself to cleanse my mind and guts. This is something I need in my life.

July 27th:
Children need lots of mothers, fathers, auntie, uncles, and grandparents. This arrangement is good for everyone.

July 28th:
It won’t hurt to listen.

July 29th:
I am the only real limit placed upon me.

July 30th:
Education is much more than learning a body of knowledge. It is living wisdom.

July 31st:
